About the Author

I’ve been a New Jersey resident for most of my life. I grew up on the Jersey Shore and moved back in August 2006 with my wife.

In between graduating from high school and moving back to New Jersey I was quite productive. I received an undergraduate degree in History and Politics, then received my Master’s in Secondary Education both at the University of Maryland, College Park. I spent a year abroad in Liverpool, England at the University of Liverpool. I was fortunate enough to meet my lovely wife in our graduate program in 2002.

I taught for 5 years in Maryland, both at the university and high school levels. It is my teaching background that sets me apart from my peers in the mortgage industry. I know my products, underwriting guidelines and industry inside and out and I can help you understand it better than anyone else.

I currently live in Ocean County with my wife, son, and two cats.
